Tsunami warning after 7.8 quake off New Zealand

A tsunami warning has been issued to the south-east coast of NSW. Pretty exciting stuff! Myself, Bartrim, The_Damned all live on the coast, and i'm not sure how close to the beach Tiby lives but i live about 1km inland and right next to a lake that joins the beach! Hopefully i don't wake up to find my car underwater or a wave of water through my bedroom window. Surf's up big kahuna

I live 2 houses up from Ulladulla harbour and I'm still here thankfully

Yeah it turned out to be a massive 17cm wave where i live

They've still issued a big seas warning though. Looks like i'll be going for a surf when the wife gets home.
