I reckon this http://www.planetvideo.com.au/blog/2...5wallpaper.jpg on a black shirt, or this http://www.seibertron.com/images/new...CVR1+LoRez.jpg on a white shirt would look superb. That or anything from alex milne's deviantart http://markerguru.deviantart.com/

I reckon his pinups would look good as shirts too (see links below for a few of them)

I'd really love a Lambo twins shirt tho...

What does everyone think of some tees that feature original cover art from the comics?

So there can never, ever, ever be a female Transformer Jayjays item of clothing for all of infinity???
    That make Dig Dig sad.
Is there any way this horrible state of affairs can be made right? I mean you're missing a potential 51% of the marketplace with boy only designs.
Who's in charge around here? Take me to your leader!

Ok comic designs as tees...hmmmm. Do you mean the entire cover art of a G1 comic just copied onto a tee? If that's the idea then no...don't think it would work well.

Unfortunately because Hasbro are such control freaks we can't use anything that is not genuine certified art from them, which is crapola because there are mountains of superb art out there (some looks better than original)... hense the limited range of characters.

Are there preferences for actual colours of tees?

I'd recommend going for greys, blues, red (even yellow) fabrics over black/white. Cheaper black cottons can tend to fade fairly quickly. Cheaper whites can end up a little yellowed without actually staining. Since you've already mentioned that you're limited by licensing costs, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up with slightly lesser materials to fit into the desired price.

The darker grey JayJays has used for some shirts (the Car Voltron shirt comes to mind) is more interesting that the standard grey cotton you often see on shirts, but won't suffer the fading of black cotton.

A Devastator one would be awesome. Maybe they can strike up deal with (was it?) Sofaman for his "You complete me" shirt

Thanks for the feedback, I'll take it all on board with the current range that is being worked on. Who know's once Hasbro have had their input and we have gone through the approvals process I might be able to let the members of this website get an exclusive preview of what's to come????

    Cheers

I would buy the exact opposite of this.

I wouldn't touch anything with Pat Lee herpe... um... Dreamwave art, but any original Marvel art would be very tempting. And I agree with Paulbot - any IDW art by Trevor Hutchison would be perfect.
