There might be a few there listed that are a little tenuous, but I think they went to great trouble to purposively include some of these.
Yes, some, or as I said "very few", but there's no way that the film was deliberately referencing Scraplets, Walter Barnett, Beast Machines Megatron's pyramid or Dai Atlas killing Predaking, and many of the others are as likely coincidences as deliberate references.

Unless someone forced you to watch the movie, you consented. A lousy you-know-what =/= rape (though I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but I liked it... we're still talking about movies yeah )

Yeah anyway - we're looking for both references and inferences. Outferences too.

We're looking for references (or inferences) to Transformers.

True. I went for God Ginrai as the earliest example of a Transformer merging with another to achieve a powered-up super robot mode - but you're right, Armada Prime/Jetfire was the first example of those two characters/namesakes merging to a super robot mode.

True - although I don't think RotF Jetfire's stasis was accidental. Also similar is that Jetfire in the G1 comics, G1 cartoon _and_ RotF were all initially Decepticons who later became Autobots.

    That's actually a biblical reference.

Religious references have been frequently used in Transformers (Judeo-Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism/Buddhism etc etc etc.)

Yeah, Sky Shadow already addressed that back in post #5. I wanna see how many references or inferences we can fish from this movie -- let's start scraping that barrel folks!

    Wheelie was the lamest character.

    Soundwave was voiced by Welker.

    Ravage was awesome.

The matrix saves the day (and everyone else).

    TFs mass-shift.
Which brings us to where we are today...

    Characters: Optimus Prime + Jetfire
    Reference: Sacrificial Power-up Combination
Details: In G1 (Victory) God Ginrai was mortally wounded in battle - knowing that he was going to die, he volunteered to allow Wheeljack, Perceptor and Minerva to use his parts to construct Victory Leo in order to merge with Star Sabre and power him up as Victory Sabre. Of course, the key difference is that from Ginrai's remains a new Autobot (Victory Leo) was born, whereas Jetfire just became scrap after Prime shed him off. :/
