    Default ModelMania DVDs

    http://modelmaniadvd.com/

Back in the day when Garage Kits ruled my world I used to draw inspiration from David Fisher,

I had Volume 1 and 2 on video and they were great. It is now on 2 DVD's, each with 3 Volumes!!!

Highly recommend them, you wont get transformers but with the first disc you will see his approach to:

    Mixing paint

    Base coating

Airbrushing tones (not just shadows of a dark color around everything)

Drybrushing tones (not making everything look like is belongs in “Geeks-Workshop”)

Metal effects (Not just drybrusing sliver on black, seriously people!!)

    Washes, painting detail, textures, weathering.
    Masking (With Latex, best ever!!)

and lots of other stuff buy it!!!

David Fisher is a legend in the garage kit world, I may have to pick these up.
I get most of my info online via forums but seeing it done step by step is invaluable.

I have a working NTSC VCR, but I need a step-down transformer to make it work! I have a step-down transformer but I don't think it's working anymore. For some stupid reason transformers cost an arm and a leg* in Australia! :/

*Like twice the price, 3x the weight and 5x the size of what I could get in Japan.
