    Optimus Climb
    Alt mode: lift

    Alt mode: Any kind of citrus fruit, but always tastes like calcium carbonate
    Ironically lime is his least favourite mode

    Alt mode: Grandfather clock

    Answer: The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers is derived from various Tokusatsu series in Japan which typically contain the words "Sentai" (battle squad) and "Ranger", e.g.: Kyouryuu Sentai Zyurenjaa (Dinosaur Battle Squad Zyuranger), Mahou Sentai Majirenjaa (Magic Battle Squad Magi Ranger), Denji Sentai Megarenjaa (Digital Battle Squad Mega Ranger) etc. The names of these Rangers were usually just associated with the colour of the uniforms (and surprisingly their civilian clothes too), e.g.: the red Mega Ranger is called Mega-Red, the blue Mega Ranger is Mega-Blue etc.

    When Transformers first came out in 1984, Takara was considering calling it "Henshin Sentai Toransufoomaa" (Transformation Battle Squad Transformers), but they quickly decided against this (thank goodness) and called it "Tatakae! Chou Robotto Seimeitai Toransufoomaa" (Fight! Super Robot Life Transformers) instead.

    It's a joke dude. If you look at the costumes worn by Sentai heroes assembled together they look like the colours of the rainbow anyway! ('cept for pink, black, white and clear )

    There are probably enough colour variants of Optimus Prime out there to do it too!
    e.g.:
    red = regular version
    white = Ultra Magnus
    black = black version (JafCon 9)
    blue = Diaclone Powered Convoy
    yellow = Shining Magnus
