    According to Babynames.com Jena is an American variant of Gina which is Italian for "Queen" (from the Latin "Regina"). Kal-El is a Kandorian name. El means "of" and Kal means "border," so "Kal-El means "of the border."

    As far as I knew, my name is of Arabic origin and means endurance or little bird. I'm more of a princess than a queen.

    My parents got the name from Blake's 7.
