Got these yesterday via Amazon and TRU:



Highly recommend the Ultimate GI Joe guide - its by the same guy who did the TF one and its very comprehensive with full colour pictures and variations. It also has a close affiliation with Larry Hama explaining things Larry wanted with certain characters and how he planned on using certain characters in the comic. Two massive thumbs up!! Found the Storm Shadow/Firefly 2-pack at a TRU - love this particular mold of SS and thoroughly recommend SS fans grab this as well.

are the 25th anniversity joes back in Toy r us?

No I would assume it's old stock Fungal is reffering to. The 2 pack was part of that stock.

I to recomend that 2 pack, aside from an awesome Devils Due style Storm Shadow and Firefly you get probably the best new comic from a 2 pack I've seen. it feels like a direct contuiation of the original Gi Joe comic rather than just filler like most of the comics.

how come TRU has not restocked 25th joes?

just come to think of it TRU are pretty unreliable with restocking new figures

i think it's their marketing people in my opinion...
they aren't focusing much on action figure markets...
stocks there now are for toddlers and for kids.

I believe hasbro were just trialing some of the 25th Anniversary line at Toys r Us, I'm pretty sure that was mentioned before somewhere on these boards.

I hope the new movie line is here to stay though.

Well Toyworld got in a bunch of Wave 1/2 C1 along with Wave 3 C2 Gi Joe Movie toys - at an incredable $2 each (5 for $10)

So, I finally got some Joes and will eventually open them.
