I just got MP-08 Grimlock and Mp-03 Hasbro Starscream.

Grimlock is just awesome. I feel like getting Mp-08X now >_>

Starscream was really disappointing. Crappy paint job. And when in jet form is he supposed to look so dirty?

They are actually. Don't be fooled by Skids bigger arm being a gun in package, you can flip it over for his normal hand. Their alt modes are solid with the typical FAB trademark of simple legends like conversion. They make look like the same mold but they aren't although they are engineered similarly.

Yeah, he's ought to be like that IMO. I would rather prefer him to be "off-white" than the 25th anniversary deluxe "milky white" screamer.
Maybe you can just imagine he just retreated from a battle with the autobots.

A T-Rex that can plug cars into its shouders!?!?! Does it get any cooler than this??

OK it's Transformers Armada's Predacon and his mini-con mates. I think it's the closest I'll get to a Transmetal BW Megatron....

MP Starscream in G1 colors has two versions - The japanese (takara) one doesnt have the "battle damage" paint scheme which added to it. You can tell by the packaging coz it has that F15 silhouette on the lower front left of the packaging with of course japanese scripts - they call MP starscream USA edition. Hasbro's version doesnt have the F15 silhouette sticker in front at all and yeah has that dirty "battle damage" paint scheme.

I'm pretty sure the Takara one has battle damage as well. I think the only difference is an insignia on the nosecone.

Takara did away with the weathering paint scheme jay. A lot of people had fanboy whinges about it on the boards when the then US Walmart exclusive G1 colored MP version came out. A lot were annoyed with the darkened wing joints and wotnot. So takara instead had theirs in silvery light grey and not so much that Screamer looks like hes a burnt toast. I have the Takara version. Its one of the factors I considered when I was buying him coz I had a look at a loose Hasbro version one, didnt really like the "battle damage" Hasbro had going - much like the MP prime they issued with the same random dark paints here and there, totally unnecessary IMO.
