That is some fantastic art there, I really like the style esp. the firecons!

Sky Lynx was done for a T-shirt I had printed for myself. It turned out really well, actually. Unfortunately that T-shirt was white and it got washed with a red t-shirt that didn't want to keep its colour to itself, so it go pinkified.

It looked terrible in pink so I sadly had to throw it out. I should get another one printed.

I also would have prefered to buy that Megatron: Origin than the one I did.

Nice classic G1 moment in the Masterpiece Grimlock picture too.
Well, actually, despite it being a tribute to the release of a new Masterpiece Grimlock the actual design is from G1 Grimlock's toy!

Yeah. The "In One Page" strips are something I came up with based on the Megatron: Origin concept. I need to finish All Hail Megaton and I did plan on doing more -- but I haven't gotten around to it just yet. I need to, people seem to really enjoy those strips.

The Firecons piece was a lot of fun to do. I love rendering fire, for some reason. Plus it was nice to try and hi-light the different characters while still staying fairly true to the toy designs.

It's not just you. Countless people have remarked on it.

Basically, I started drawing TFs based on the G1 and G2 comics, and I never stopped using them as reference. Even when Dreamwave came along and changed the style in which TFs were drawn I didn't *LIKE* the new style so I never really incorporated any Dreamwavey aspects.

I love EJ Su's impassive Megatron, though... and I do use that (When I'm not doing insane Marvel Megatron.)
