Default Greatshot WIP with articulated arms

    Hi guys,

Been working on this. Greatshot from the Japanese series with articulated arms.

Dont worry, this is using a Sixshot KO to build. Didnt have the heart to try with G1.. and I am sure many of you would hate to see a G1 Sixshot custom made with a price tag like that for the toy.

Still working on the transformations. The arms here are articulated.

A little update with articulated legs and head (+ new head) as well as a size comparison to the MP Prime.

    Hey bruticus, Thanks.

For all the joints, I used Lego Bionicles. It extends the arm and leg abit longer.

Here is the beast mode. The others yet to come.

    lego bionicles hey??
i was thinking abt using them too but i found that the joints became a bit loose when they were supporting some heavy weight.....

so did you end up buying the articulated G1 sixshot from wandereal or were you the original commissioner for that custom??

Its not too bad on the bionicles joint. I find if you paint the joints, then it becomes tighter. But it isnt intended for heavyweight like a Unicron or primus.

Wan's Sixshot was sort of a commission. We did a trade.

you buy or trade customs and then you reverse engineer it but with your own interpretation and flare???
    cool...
let me know if and when you decide you want to reverse engineer Mench0y's swoop....

    Hi Bruticus,

haha.. now you know my tricks.. best way to learn right

The Menchoy swoop, worked out how he did it. But the scratchbuilding is amazing on that piece. That will only ever stay as a collectors item. I couldnt replicate that.

His work is amazing.. the scratchbuild is superb detailing and curvatures.
