Thanks for the how-to-guide MV75. I'll know what to do next time I see a fake on ebay. Perhaps we could use the info in your post as a sticky? Just a suggestion.

What amazing bargains! If only shipping to Australia didn't cost FIVE OR SIX times the starting price. Not only is he trying to sell knockoffs as genuine encores, he's also luring people in with "low" prices that will have you ripped off on shipping.

maybe there needs to be a way to educate buyers as well. Encores can't possibly have English writing and look 99% like G1 US boxes. I hope people who buy these stuff should be discerning enough at least...

Good on ya for reporting it, it needs to be.
Unfortunately I see this as being a neverending battle when it comes to reporting sellers selling KO's.
They can always start up a new user and try again, then we report it again. There will always be more people trying to flog them off, and it is really sad to see.

But if you do notice someone selling KO's, we should report it with ebay. And now that I know how to, I will do it myself as well. Cheers for the info.

I hate eBay when it comes to knockoffs, dishonest sellers and shill bidders. I'm sick and tired of reporting them only to have nothing eventuate and the auction continue as normal.

Some of the questions and answers on the bottom of the seller's pages are... intriguing.
