One of my favourite moments in G2 was when Megatron and Prime were forced to team up against Matrix-powered Starscream. Megatron questioned himself as to why the hell he always lets Starscream back when he's proven himself time and time again to be a self-serving traitor, and Megatron's answer to himself was something like, "Because I'm an idiot, that's why!"

Other things I liked:
+ G.I. Joe's intergalactic beacon which allowed them to summon the Autobots back to Earth when the Decepticons attacked.
+ War World!!!
+ Dr. Biggles-Jones, she's smart and she's hawt!
+ Jhiaxus; very cool villain =D
+ War World!!! (just deserves a 2nd mention )
+ The freakin' SWARM! (who would go on to influence the Beast Wars in a major way )
+ Sideswipe - his G2 repaint didn't suck (sorry iceburn, I'm just not a big fan of blue Grimlock ) and they made him a bada$$ Rambo-esque commando!
+ The Liege Maximo! Okay, he didn't really do much other than just sit there looking really menacing and bad - but that was cool. And subsequent Beast Wars canon has further illustrated that he _was_ actually as bad as he looked, having torn the Matrix from Primon with his bare hands! Nassssty.
+ And did I mention War World?

You know what I like best about G2?

The incredibly bad rapping in the commercials.

Combaticons are ROARING
Onslaught is ROARING
He's one metamorphin' DUDICUS!
They all combine
To kick Superion's behind
As the big bad battlin' Bruticus!

It's also interesting how G2 was the source for many features later made standard by Beast Wars, foremost of them being articulation as an integral part of the robot mode, and being complex in addition to that.

true his plastic has warping but fortunately hasnt yet cracked so I dont try to fiddle with him much Ill go post later Autocon.... have to handle him really carefully... along with some more other G2s i have

Ok after careful fiddling here it is. Also took shots of my G2 shelves - top for Autos , bottom for Decepts. Sorry if its too far or blurry, dont have wide angle shots on me camera.
and before anyone reacts, yes that is a junker G2 starscream.. my work in progress, seeing that roller was kind enough to give it to me for free - happen to find the fists at the last parra fair, slowly he will be complete, albeit modified parts at times..

Heeeey! Not only do you have a Sludge on there... Stalker's not Generation 2!!

(I will accept Clench, even though I usually put him in MY G1 displays.)
