its true, my PS3 is a US one with a $10 AUS cable, no probs! Any standard PC power cable will do the trick. I imported back when the dollar was win so I paid $450AUS inc post for my PS3. and that's when they were $1000 in the shops, TAKE THAT SONY AUS!

I remember reading on Kotaku that Sony actually filed for some sort of "PS2 software emulation on PS3" patent just a couple of months ago. This could mean two things:

1) They'll offer PS2 titles as downloads only from their network store.

2) They patented it to stop 3rd parties from offering similar emulators, so you cannot play PS2 discs/roms on the PS3, and have to purchase the games again from their network store.

I like the idea of Backward Compatibility and i hope they do bring it back eventually, if not at least into the PS4.

and sure, i wouldn't like to buy the PS2 games that i have again, but...


Thinking about it

• as long, as it isn't "that much to buy"
  ( would even like it even more, if there is some kind of discount "if" you get the games you already have again)
• it is upscaled to "HD Resoloutions" .

Ace Combat 4: Distant Thunder(leave the Landing bit Intact)
Ace Combat 5: Squadron Leader (hopefully, fix the landing bits to resemble Ac4)
Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War (also hopefully, fix the landing bits to resemble Ac4)

i would get them again.

plus i might be interested in getting Ace Combat 3:Electrosphere and Transformers: Beast Wars that was on PSX again if they fix up the graphics.
