Local K-Mart just got the new voyagers in last week and I wanted to snap some up, but I told myself "wait for the sale" even though I thought i'd be waiting weeks.
Yay for not having to wait weeks and being patient!
Death to the person who gets them before I do.
Why can't I see the catalogue if I navigate from Kmart homepage?
Don't bother, it's up..
Got Stratosphere last night (sale stuff was up early), but no Long Haul or Grindor wave.
SofaMan - Occasionally Battling Evil with his Mighty Powers of Indolence
Did something happen to this sale?
I went in today at lunch time, didn't see any special tags so I took Voyager Megs for price check
$49. Same price as it was yesterday when I checked.
Went back to work, jumped on the K-Mart website to verify the sale started today.
The catalogue they have for the sale starting today is COMPLETELY different from what I downloaded last night.
The fudge?
-edit-
Wow, just went to K-Mart's page again and they now have two different catalogues. Wonder if it's worth going back tonight to see if the sale has actually started.![]()
Turns out my K-Mart is a "no catalogue store".
What it means is they don't distribute the catalogue in this town. As such, they don't apply the specials.
HOWEVER, they do keep a catalogue under the service desk so that if people come in and say "hey, I saw this in the catalogue on the net" they have to honour the price.
Not sure if it's a rort (having things on special but not displaying them thus making the consumer pay a higher price) or just more stupid marketting on K-Mart's part (they're christmas lay-by sale with it's "too hot to lay-by" stuff was ridiculous)
