I'm of a different opinion 5FDP.
There were so many TFs available in Classic packaging, all MISB, in SG back in the early 2000s. People just wouldn't buy them because they were so ugly. Ripping them all open (throwing away the boxes) and selling as loose complete but 'without instructions and catalogue' actually got my friends and I more money then selling them MISB.
Eg: Classics Springer, MISB for $100. No buyers. Same Springer, loose, complete, stickers unapplied for $120. Snapped up in an hour. Springer bubble on eBay, sold for another US$30. Crazy situation. Same with Classics Prowl, Tracks, Inferno, etc, etc (before the deluge of eHobby and TFC reissues).
Hmm... interesting... rare? No. Cheap? No.

You know I have no problems with anyone liberating toys, Mr. Decepticon. I was just pointing out that if we don't see 5FDP for a while it's because he's been taken away in an ambulance.
And you people praising Classics packaging know it's just 1989 Pretender packaging design with a GeeWun toy and pics, right?
