I managed to get into his small shop one night. Din't have too much time to poke around and didn't see some of the things he has on eBay, so they might be locked away.

So he made his reserve and the auction ended for US$50K. BUT, it was a 0 feedback bidder who is now "no longer a registered user". You know, I'm all for giving people a chance, but when you are doing a sale of that size, I think it's quite alright to require a minimum feedback. What a pain in the @ss.

Custom Movie Ironhide in G1 colors. Not bad. I think the paint's a bit too metallic though.

The layout of the eBay listing is a bit borked, but you can directly see the flickr set here.

I think the fact that the customizer has placed a picture of herself at the top of the listing is pretty disingenuous and degrades her work as I can only assume she's using it as a tool to drive sales from basement geeks. Either that or she has quite an ego. Any other theories?

Very nice piece of work, I think the paint would look a lot more dull in real light. The sheen is great for robot mode but makes the alt mode look extremely tacky.

Also tacky is the text on her listing header:
"The stars are falling they want me and beauty" seriously

Luv the metallic red! It looks Hawt! (I'm a sucker for metallic colours... )

Yep, I've gotta agree with the self-pic - What's up with that?

& the music? What the? I've never heard background music on an Ebay auction before & it sure doesn't make me wanna own that figure even more...

On a side note, considering just how much effort she's put into jazzing up this auction - I bet her Myspace/Facebook page would be just as over the top...

^^ how can a hand-repainted repainted toy be C-10? That either suggests the figure is in pristine, straight-off-the-assembly-line condition with no mould injection flaws (which it clearly isn't), or that the repaint is utterly flawless - which is incredbility unlikely.

You've gotta luv the way the Seller describes it (By only reading the title/large font, he's trying to suggest it's genuine... )

Yeah. He's consistently deceptive. Would remove KO BTs from packaging and sell as legit. List Hasbro figs as Takara versions. He knows how to grease the eBay wheel too so buyer beware.
