Once again, the geniuses at AFA demonstrate the utter pointlessness of their own service.

Transformers Generation 1 U90 Twin Twist w/ Paper Work

The case is about 15X bigger that the toy itself, so are you paying for the small toy or the very large case it's in?

Ha! AFA will grade absolutely anything these days. I wouldn't be surprised if they sent your tech specs back in a massive acryllic case as well

What's most ridiculous is that it has a loose grade of U90, which means that someone sent AFA a MISB Twin Twist, then AFA took it out of its packaging just to put it straight into their plastic packaging.

The unfortunate thing is that due to all the dumb asses that pay premium for AFA graded products, it is now more profitable to remove the TF from a sealed 'age worn' box and send it to AFA for grading.

Personally, I don't understand why anyone would want a loose AFA graded toy. I can somewhat understand why an MISB collector would want a graded boxed toy. But the final cost defeats the purpose of it from anyone who wants it for their collection and not for re-selling.

Also what are AFA's qualifications when it comes to grading toys? If such an expensive service cannot tell the difference between a G1 Bumblebee and a Clifjumper figure then how can I trust them to produce the right grading?
