A bunch of loose Road Caesar parts. It's a shame that they are so expensive as you would need at least $600.00 to purchase all of the parts that go into making the gestalt:

Also check out some of his boxes and Galaxy Shuttle.
Wanted: G1 Liokaiser parts | unbroken G1 Smokescreen/Prowl/Bluestreak roofs | G1 Overlord tank barrel and tank orange cockpit canopy

Only because there is a Fort Max in this lot it should go quite high. I'm guessing between $600-$700.

Yes. Not that I have the cash to bid on that auction now, knowing full well what the price may end up being. I have recently watched a few key eps of the Japanese Headmasters which fueled a decision to want a fort-max. MAster Sword and all. I have been seriously considering getting a Fort-Max next year, leaving me some time to budget towards it. But this statement just made me re-evaluate this goal.

The guy is Awesome, no doubt, biggest, bad-ass and to me, the ultimate bot- Just seeing how small metroplex is next to him just took my breath away- but is he really worth it for prices commanding up to and over 1k?

Even Brave Max is morbidly expensive on Ebay- not that I have looked enough- just based on 1 search. Not even going to start on spike or cerebros prices.

"Overly expensive..." is a valid point.

Sadly, the barriers to owning fort max or rarer g1s is ridiculous now.
I echo many fans' sentiments for a reissue- I might even join the dark side if an eventual high quality KO reissue is released.

He is damn expensive, but not unattainable. Took me a long while to get one, and I am missing a number of the small accessories. Still cost me a fair bit, I think $850 all up, but my one was bone white. Looking at that one in the auction, he is pretty badly discoloured.

Yeah, Fort Maxes have just reached crazy heights in terms of prices. Even in HK, they're selling for HKD$20K + for one in a shit box and is yellowed.

Being one of the key pieces in 1987, I do highly getting a Fort Max. It's a very awesome toy if you have HOCs, SCFs or WSTs to go with it - truely a veritable city. gdmetro, maybe this will further sway you.

Mind you, I paid a lot of money for my C-114 MIB (C9.5 box, toy, stickers, complete paperworks and complete inserts). It's a really key piece to me, so I just gotta have the best. Also, I didn't want the nightmare of having to hunt for parts. Master Sword is still obtainable, but the master sword (the small black one for cerebros) is nigh impossible to find loose.

This is my C-114, which I paid AU$1800 for in 2007. Shocking I know. But I don't regret it, yet.
