I agree, and you have the added benefit of reduced international competition, whom I think are traditionally willing to spend more money/bid higher.

Yeah that's true but sometimes they block overseas bidders. That's happened in the past where I've asked, they've said it's ok, but they still forget to unblock the auction.

yeah....that happened to me too!
i asked a seller if i could bid at one of those auctions, seller said yes.
before the auction is about to end..i tried bidding and realised i was still BLOCKED from bidding because i'm "international"
