Yeah. It also contradicts the meaning and origin of my mundane name too (which I hate and I do wish some people would stop calling me by it IRL)

There's also this site. My wife and I used several different sites when researching names actually. Took us _months_ of searching and debating too. (-_-)

    Anyway, according to behindthename:
+ Paul = (Paulus) Latin for small or humble
+ Stuart = Scottish for steward (as in the Steward of Gondor)
+ Bruce = Norman name, no meaning provided. Babynames says that it's English from the place name "Bruis." Thinkbabynames confirms the Norman origin and also as a place and baronial name. I guess the actual meaning has been lost.

There are heaps of web sites (and books) out there about names and their etymology.

Show how committed you are and name him Optimus! Lol

Nah, personally when I have a boy, I plan on naming him Tyson or Alexander... to me they sound like names that evoke power.

There are some Transformer names that could pass off as boys names.

    Alan
    Kirk
    Rodney

...and of course a whole bunch of actual human names from Transformers (who wouldn't want to name their boy Spike, Buster or Butch? )

My daughter's mundane name is Yuki, but her Transformer name is Yukikaze.

There's also Abel and Jack (also the name of a Mini-Con).

Go on, call your boy Victory Leo. (as opposed to Fail Leo)
