Although i think, i voted for Lion Voltron when this poll started , i think i started to figure out why (slow i know) Though, i can vaguely remember things (Vehicle Voltron More so )
To me "Lion Voltron" looked like it was less complicated and more efficient than Vehicle Voltron and as such Lion Voltron to me was more believable and understandable
Mostly because , there were " 5" Operators of "5" Lions which is all that was needed to form Voltron (which lets say, i felt was efficient and believable IMO)...
Where on the other hand Vehicle Voltron was "near straight to the point" looked to be (if these are the correct words) more complicated and not very efficient for me to believe, that it could be a real team (super hero at least anyway)
etc...
- You needed 15 Vehicles/Parts to form --->One<--- Voltron.....
Can't remember exactly but, i think the 3 teams "Air", "Sea" and "Land" couldn't form there own Robot Voltron.
If they did, i probably would of started to be more interested, on this point alone (etc.. "Air Voltron" , "Sea Voltron" and "Land Voltron" which all had 1/3 of the power of the full/main Voltron )
- And to some degree, there was too many people......
even, if they were "3 specialized teams" of "5 operators" ("total of 15"), there were way to many and 5 could of been just as good For example....
3 specialists "one, for each field" is at least needed "they could of had a bit, of experience from other fields as well"
&
The other 2 could of been a mix of the 3 fields and could of Qualified them as "Leader" and "Second In Command" etc...
And even as a kid, i saw these problems but... couldn't describe it, so it was probably something like "What The... o_0" for its time.

The Voltron.com admin posted a message on the official Voltron forum last week saying that the movie hasn't been scrapped, so it appears the initial reports were wrong.
