Well, hopefully it wont affect Marvel that much ( who am I kidding) coz if Disney influences much of Marvel, then all those adult dark theme that marvel universe has will be down the drain and be more "kiddy" friendly. ugh. Goes to show DC still is better at least they didnt get bought out... yet.

Disney owning the properties doesn't mean they will be "Disney" movies. That's why they made Touchstone. The adult market was a big area that Disney was missing out on, so they created Touchstone in order to release adult aimed movies without tainting Disney's kid friendliness.

But all of that is pointless because different studios already have the film rights for the characters. If they do go ahead with any movies Disney has been fairly hands off in recent years. They'll spend the money and take the money but they won't have too much of a say in how that money is spent. IE: Jerry Bruckheimer's recent oeuvre.

Yeah as Gantz says, I would think that Disney from their dealings with Pixar and Jerry Bruckheimer's Pirates series, are happy to let Marvel do their own thing as long as they keep bringing in the cash. There pretty much just a big company like any other these days, family friendly movies are one of their aspects.

If anything Marvel will have even more money and resources to promote its self.

I have also been told that Disney have huge shares in ViVid Entertainment, which is very large pornography company! if so, I dont believe they'll want to change what Marvel is!

Heh, bring on Marvel Hero rides at Disney theme parks!

Does this means that some former Transformer characters owned by Marvel like Circuit Breaker are now property of Disney. :/
