Default Annoyingly Specific Movie BB want

    Alrighythen

I'm after the '76 Camaro Bumblebee from the Evolution of a Hero boxed set.

why? cos I'm crazy, more specifically I want a non breaking BB, with slightly altered deco!

I'm pretty certain that the re-released First Encounter two packs also have the updated/fixed Bumblebee which I thought could be identified by the presence of the sticker. Do you know any other way to differentiate?

TFWiki.net has some good info, including links to discussions about the first running change (which was bad) and the next (which was good):

It seems the sticker is an identifier and also the painting on the automorph button.

    UPDATE: Fixed the links

If all you're after is a non breaking 74 BB with slightly altered deco, then you might also consider the Japanese release of the single pack version. It had the same deco as the clean Hasbro ones but the windows and missiles are actually clear blue plastic!

Weren't most of the Bumblebees we got here were the non-breaking ones? I thought the breakable ones were from an early production run, most of which were distributed in the US, thus most of the ones we got here from from subsequent production runs where Hasbro addressed the QA problem. I've never had any problem with my 70s Bumblebee nor has anyone else I know of outside of North America. <shrug>

My first one broke before I even attempted to transform it. I believe Paulbot also encountered a faulty one.
