    Question Deci-Time

Hey teachers, can you please help me out by telling me if this is right?
Converting standard time to deci time.

    Step 1
    8:11PM=2011

    Step 2
    20+11=20.18333333
    LLLL60
    Step 3
    20.18333333 Divide by 2.4= 8.40972=08:40:97
    Ignore the L's.

I agree - blackoptimus, I was with you up to Step 2 (and I think you're right), but I don't get Step 3. (I am a teacher, but since I'm an English or Latin teacher by training, I don't know how qualified I am to help either.)
