New Series Wild Mass Guessing

So Hasbro have a new TF series in the works. Presumably, it's going to be shown on their own channel, rather than on Cartoon Network, as has been the case.

Beyond those details, we know NOTHING. So let's all mass theorise about what it could be! Maybe we'll somehow achieve critical mass with our guessing and influence space-time to make it true.

I'm thinking it might be a movie-based series, much as I don't want one. Possible evidence for this is that several voice actors for the new TFs work mainly in TV, e.g. Tom Kenny (Skids, Wheelie), Grey DeLise (Arcee threesome). Since they work in TV roles already (and Kenny was in TFA, notably as Starscream), it wouldn't cost significantly more to use them in a movie-based series. They could probably use other VAs for the others, which would be easy since we never heard more than a few lines from many of them anyway.

I'm hoping it's not, since I'm sick of movie stuff right now.

If its shown on their own channel, i think it will take ages to get to free to air tv, and when it is it will be severely chopped for more stupid ads.

Then everyone will discuss it in depth and spoil it for me

and people will get told off about talking about watching it on the internet

and the toys will come out and i'll buy some, but not the whole line

then they'll cancel it after 2 years and the final toys of the final wave will be released in the US only

classic style bots with a splash of movie aesthetics.

My theory is further backed (IMO) by the new bludgeon that is in a "universe style" yet to me looks like it'll fit right in with that new style breakdown up there

It will be heavily Movie based in the art and perhaps plot but with G1 elements.

Hasbro is very predictable but always late to the party when they want to capitalize on the popularity of something as such a TV series should of happened shortly after TF1 as TF2 does not seem to be having no where near the same impact or following.

I agree with everyones speculations that its going to be movie based with a pinch of G1. It makes sense although I agree as Kup stated, they are slightly late to the party. With the first movie I was still thinking about it for months, after the ROTF I couldn't care less. The best part about a possible cartoon series is that it might actually make sense, and have characters that can be developed and followed.

a) Looks like Teen Titans

and

b) Has nothing to do with the movies

Sadly both those things are likely to be the case.
