    Default Custom Hot Spot

Hours went into this piece as the figure was large and alot of areas to cover off.

This is the third commission work.

    Hope you guys like it.

Some of you that know me knows that the figures are handpainted.

    Innerbot:

Now, for the bigger version. With shells.

    Thanks.

    Dude, they are wicked.
You have been a busy boy doing all these I can see.

Wish I had the time to do as many as you do, I'm still doing one after 4 weeks

Azrael - yeah.. been a buzzee bee... Really had to find time to do it and sneaking to my workshop at 10pm and working till morning was fun but a little weird at the same time.

Soundblaster - Hmmm... the camera isnt picking it up, but there are some really nice metal dry brushing on the face that makes it look pretty hardcore. I dont disagree with you as the pics show the face is black. Do you reckon to add another colour? Was aiming for G1 likeness in colourscheme.

    Loophole, thanks man.

Looks G1ish indeed ... I guess since hotspot in G1 's head is so damn small u hardly see it anyway but this customs head is a good size so it catches your attention more , guess thats why I thought it looked a little dark..

Conclusion: If u are going for the G1 look keep it the way it is because it looks mean

Fatbot, thanks man. I love the fact that you love it.

Soundblaster, a fair comment. I will do a little more dry brushing to give it more identity. I was thinking of painting the 2 window panels on the chest in the small bot mode red to break up the colours abit and still fit within G1.. What do you reckon Fatbot, would you prefer that?
