Your handle in Japanese

As many of you know, my handle "Goktimus Prime" is a fusion of Optimus Prime and Son Gokuu from 西遊記　(Saiyuuki; "Journey to the West") - hence on Japanese boards I go by the name 孫コンボイ ("Son Convoy").

On the weekend I came up with a Japanese "translation" for Sofaman's nick which is "Couch Convoy" (カウチコンボイ; "kauchi konboi") which I thought was kinda neat cos of the alliteration. And we know that often a "Convoy" in Japan isn't necessarily a "Prime" in Anglophone markets, e.g.: Nitro Convoy -> Override, Flame Convoy -> Scourge, Megalo Convoy -> Metroplex etc. so it's perfectly within the realms of established English-Japanese naming conventions.

So if anyone particularly wants a Japanese version of their handle feel free to try and make one up and post here, or you can ask me and I'll see if I can make one.

This may not be possible for everyone. Some of you have handles which would effectively be the same in Japanese as it is in English, or simply "translate" directly into the Japanese name for the character you are named after.
e.g.
dirge = Dirge （ダージ; "daaji")
griffin = Griffin （グリフィン; "gurifin")
Rampage = Rampage　（ランページ; "ranpeeji"）
kup = Char　（チャー; "chaa")
Jetfire = Skyfire　（サカイファイア; "sukaifaia"）

It'd probably just be ガッツマンヘビー ("gattsuman hebii").

As I'm sure you know, Gutsman is just called Gutsman (ガッツマン; "gattusman") in Rockman. The Japanese word for heavy is 重い ("omoi") so if you want a more literal translation you could say: ガッツマン重い ("gattsuman omoi").

On a related note, if anyone knows where to find a decent English to Elvish translator so I can find out the Elvish translation (the name started out as my habitual CRPG character, who's an elf ranger) that'd be much appreciated.

Which particular language/dialect of Elvish are you looking for? Cos they're quite different.

Sindarin is the most common Elvish language when people usually think about Elvish. Quenya is probably the next most well known. There's other languages which aren't as widely known such as Quendian, Telerin, Nandorin, Avarin and Silvan.

I'm assuming you're talking about Tolkien Elvish, because there's other non-Tolkien Elvish languages too like Darnassian and Thalassian (Warcraft), Ssamath (Dungeons & Dragons) etc. link
