Not that I approve of the max bay factor but I don't see a speilbergesque influence as a great improvement.

Heres hoping they stop at III

It's been confirmed by Orci that he and Kurtzman are not coming back to TF3 - Here is a hint to why:

Even if Orci and Kurtzman don't write TF3 it doesn't mean that Bay will. They'll probably get new writers to replace them; and I don't think any new writer(s) should be judged till we see the next movie. Then of course, it still boils down to how much Bay will tamper with the script. Directors and actors deviating from the script isn't necessarily a bad thing... but history has shown that with Bay it's often not a good thing and it's probably best if he didn't. :/

Unfortunately the writers are not allowed to write their own story, they have Bay on top of them dictating what he wants to see in the film. It's not as if the writers hand over the script for Bay to shoot, Bay is heavily involved in the writing process and influencing the script with his own stupid ideas.

    Exactly!

Look how much control Bay had over the writers in the first 2 movies... and they were there from the start! Imagine what it will be like for the *new* writer(s) who come in... Bay will feel like he has even more power cos he's "been here since Day 1".

As far as he's concerned, Bay owns Transformers!
