What do you use to get the paint off? And where can I find this alchohol stuff!?
Soak in 99% isopropyl alcohol for a few days. I get mine from the hardware store. Use a cotton bud for local application.
Next attempt I'm going to try something different and hopefully get 100% clean lines. If the weather stays fine I'm going to spray it on the weekend.

Ok it's slow going but I'm getting there.
Painted a few more parts. Back seats came out ok.
Still have to figure out how to minimize paint wear on the front seats.

Interesting method but I don't think it'll be suitable.
I just need to figure out how I'm going to do the windscreen then finally I can clearcoat this and it will be 90% done.

gamblor916, that is one awesome looking WIP Meister.
I'd seriously wanted to do a custom like this of Jazz but just didn't know how to translate all my thoughts into reality... just didn't know how to start.
Just sold of my Alt Jazz as I kinda gave up on the idea.
You've done a great job and it's truly inspiring
Can't wait to see your final product!

I did some searching and found that some aircraft and auto modelers use precut vinyl for masking and found there's at least 2 aftermarket companies making such masks. I've found that these masks are very similar to the vinyl stickers people use for car decals, signage and whatnot. As it happens a work colleague recently made up some stickers for his car and pointed me to http://www.bladerunnergraphics.com.au
So I made up some graphics, and threw in some autobot logos.

    All masked up

Success! I ran a brand new blade around the outside just in case, but these masks worked superbly well. No bleed whatsoever.
