Default The Pit - a closer look

As the biggest single individual toy I've ever owned (and I've owned Brave Maximus in the past!), I thought I'd give people a closer look at the Pit, especially considering its on special for only $99 at Kmarts at the moment. So here are the pics:

    Mobile Pit mode:

Next to deluxe Bumblebee for size comparison:

    Base mode:

Rear infirmary and fold out bridge:

    Trapdoor/elevator opening:

    Prison:

Command podium (with sound controls) and driver control bay:

    Sleeping quarters:

Breakable walls (to simulate movie mole pods drill scene):

Side ramp and "faux" storage area (made of cardboard):

Cannon turrets and drop chute - below the handle is a chute that you can drop prisoners into who will then appear in the prison:

Hawk comparison (single carded version on left):

    Faux furniture (made of cardboard)

A random battle scene with Robot Heroes:

I'm seriously tempted to grab some Combat Heroes now to display with the Pit - they're way easier to display but the limited number currently available along with the future release of Combat Heroes being uncertain is holding me back. So there you have it folks - if you needed anymore convincing to grab this set at the special price, then I'd say the only thing that could really hold you back is the considerable amount of space it takes up. And the absurd amount of stickers (six sheets!! ) Enjoy!
If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you

I'd buy one if I could find one. NOTHING here. At this point, it'll be cheaper for me to book a ticket to another city, fly there. pick one up and fly back to Darwin than getting one shipped.

Thanks for the pics Fungal. It looks sheer awesome.

Yeah I think so to. I wonder how the size compares to the Rolling Thunder?

Nice looking set to, still not sure if it's for me. I do like the infirmary and living quaters though. Do figures actualy fir on those beds though? I'd like to see some pics with some Joes on it.

Seeing as how no one has posted pics of the Pitt with actual Joe Figures, I thought I might.

I wasn't planning to buy the darnt thing but Kmart just had to keep dropping their price didn't they.
