I think I'll grab one of the Big Convoys on eBay.

The Korean version on eBay seems to float around the $AUD50 mark which is incl. postage. From everybody's much appreciated input and from YouTube vids, I think he'll make another masterful statue standing alongside Magmatron (got the Takara version) and Omega Prime (got the RID version). An unsatisfactory transformation is a bummer, but then its quality plastic, which is like quality wine, so the former is forgivable.

Also looking out for BW2 Lio Convoy(Twilight-sparkly one): there's a few going for $AUD75ish at the moment and appears to be a comparatively good price? I've seen some reviews on it with the prime negatives being that the sparkly-plastic is a drop in quality from the original. Anyone verify?

Speaking of BW, just received my MISB BW Cybershark (original mold, not the transmetal rubbish), and looking for a good Japanese BWN Sharpedge I know they're just Delux-ified BW flipbeasts, but they're SHARKS!! If only the BW line produced a few more Deluxe/Mega/Ultra-sized oceananic predators then I could stand them all together and imagined that they would combine ?

I think you meant BWII (pronounced as "Beast Wars Second", not "Beast Wars Two"). By "Twilight sparkly" are you referring to Flash Lio Convoy?

Final note: What is a 'Sydney fan meet' and when is it?

We have regular fan meets (and occasionally conventions) in Sydney and other major cities where we meet up, swap/trade and generally socialise. Meets are organised and advertised on the Megatron's Meetups section of the board which you can't access atm because your status is still "Protoform." As stated in the board rules the Protoform status allows you to begin interacting immediately but the administration will convert you to full Member status depending on your interaction/involvement here. It's just to ensure that you are a fair dinkum Transformer fan and not a dealer or spammer or some other kind of pest which unfortunately we've had in the past. But so long as you continue to interact like a real TF fan then I'm sure your member status will be upgraded in no time.

There are also public events where we meet up as well such as the Sandown Fair (Melbourne), Nexus Fair (Perth) and Parramatta Collectables Fair (Sydney). We had an OzFormers stall at the SMASH! Convention last August 8-9 at UNSW and just last week was the last Parramatta Fair.

I found ROTF Optimus was hard to transform from robot to his vehicle mode, the real tricky part was his body his arm and legs weren't to bad
