Big Steam sale on, got me Braid ($2.50) and Ghostbusters ($6.80)

Braid is a great game, a little short but the concept is great

Nothing I was really after was in the sales today, apart from NBA 2K10 but it wasn't a big enough saving on that one and I think its on sale till Jan 3rd anyway

Enjoy Braid, it's gaming nirvana. Thanks to you I finally snagged Machinarium for half price @ US$9.99 - Woohoo!! I could also see both Penumbra: Overture and Black Plague are selling for only US$9.99 in a 'complete pack' during the sale. If you like psychological thrillers/horror I can't recommend these two titles enough. They're brilliant, largely unappreciated games and for that price, an absolute steal.

EDIT: Can someone tell me if TOCA Race Driver 3 still holds up well today? I'm not into racers in a huge way but I remember loving the gameplay in TOCA 2 on the original Playstation (some 10 years ago!!). Ahh, the good old Playstation. I wonder if a Formula 1 game has since been able to better the magic of Formula 1 '97 (developed by Psygnosis, remember them?)...What a game!

Is anybody having problems playing on line COD Modern Ware fare 2???
I'm finding that it can take up to minutes to join a game, my Internet connection is fine but its taking a while to join a game, this on PS3.
Has anyones else had similar issues??

its still a great game, but like a said at times it can take a while to join a game. you should get it!

Just a reminder boys n Gals, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom: Ultimate All Stars is due out on the 28th of Jan, (although a magazine I saw said the 10th). This is the english release and if you have a Wii you NEED this game. I have the Jap version and I am still going to get the enlish one! Thats how cool it is!!!!!
