For someone who doesn't consider themselves to be a "Nintendo Guy", I sure do seem to of accumulated a lot of their hardware!
Awesome! I consider my Nintendo console collection complete. I don't have a Virtual Boy but not very interested in getting one as there are no cool games one could play.

I read only yesterday that Australia would be getting more amiibo figures from other markets, lo and behold my local target had two Japanese Kirby and DK figures!

Nabbed a DK as Kirby was my day one purchase!(had I known how they'd sell, they'd all of been day one purchases!)

Is there a difference between them and the ones previously released here? Or is it just a change of packaging?

Best I can tell is purely packaging. I'll update you when I use him some time this weekend, but the figure itself is exactly the same as all the pictures I have seen.

Not that i've played through it - but i have played some of it in a store kiosk... but Virtual Boy Wario Land disagrees with you Still not worth the system investment though, they're prone to breaking as well.

    Lightbulb

I am playing through The Swapper (was free on PS4 some time ago). A small game that came out a few years ago and it really is quite clever. It looks a bit weird but feels like a mix between Metroid and Portal which is right up my alley.

Bought myself a game for my PS3 and when I tried to play it the game won't even run because there isn't any room left on my PS3 for more game data....
There's nothing I can really delete without losing all my progress on one of my games or someone else's progress on one of their games.
But if I don't delete something to make room then I can't even play my new game

lol. Yes they were. Can you delete the install data of an older game by any chance? Not the save data, but install data. Some of those things are rather large! If you do, It'll keep the save, and the game will need to re-install later if played again, but it is an option. Hard choices. Lol.

Upgrade your PS3 HDD and no, they were not easier in NES days.

It could take a lot of effort to get a game to run (blowing on it) and on top of that, the battery save games liked to erase games if there was any minor short age while trying to start the game. I lost my Legend of Zelda game while trying to get the cartridge to work and I was on the last dungeon! I had to start all over again.
