I was so tempted to get the PS4 at Kmart for $349 but then I thought of my 46 PS3 game backlog and figured I could wait for a bit longer...

I feel like I am never going to finish my PS3 backlog.

Honestly if it was backwards compatible, I'd have already bought one. Having a mate who has one has helped as I've been able to play the latest Batman and Shadows of Mordor. Infamous Second Son and MGS were great too. So having them already (partially) played helps sate the appetite!

Actually if it were backwards compatible, that would also incite me to buy one more.

Is there any strategy or something with the PS4 that you can get credit for games you already own in the PSN store? That way you can download the PS3 games you already have on the PS4 without having to have both consoles.

Me three. Maybe I'll just bite and get the TF game for the PS3 for now. I know that the PS4 games I want to play will still be available in a year's time.

I never had a GC, so it was one of the main reason I got a Wii. Went out and also bought a bunch of GC games. Same thing happened when I got a PS2 (bought a lot of PS1 games).

Gaming PC is going to be better in the long run. I just bite the bullet and get both every time I upgrade

Well when I took some students to gamers club today we got to play the new Call of Duty III on the PS4.

I was very impressed with the graphics, responsiveness and overall gameplay. I particularly enjoyed killing zombies

We decided to play all on one screen a 4-player split screen multiplayer fight and one of the students handed me my arse big time both games! It was so embarassing. He then admitted he got the game at midnight when it came out last week and has been playing it non-stop and is currently ranked 200th in the world in the multiplayer rankings so I didn't feel too bad. Plus it was my fav student so if someone was gonna kick my arse Im glad it was him

Never been an xbox fan, never wanted an xbox console, generally think less of xbox users (sorry!) but I am so tempted to get an xbone at the moment due to Tomb Raider being exclusive for a year. It is possibly my game of the console generation (for last generation) and combined with my desire to play Ratchet and Clank-Sunset Overdrive is seriously making me consider it.

I think the cricket season will temper this as I can play my WiiU while watching the cricket at the same time.
