Never been an xbox fan, never wanted an xbox console, generally think less of xbox users (sorry!) but I am so tempted to get an xbone at the moment due to Tomb Raider being exclusive for a year. It is possibly my game of the console generation (for last generation) and combined with my desire to play Ratchet and Clank-Sunset Overdrive is seriously making me consider it.

I think the cricket season will temper this as I can play my WiiU while watching the cricket at the same time.

I flat out refused to buy a new console other than a Wii U for maybe 2 years, then i gave in and got both an Xbox one and a ps4 and to be honest i love the Xbox.

Bought Battlefront last week. Gotta admit I am a bit disappointed with it so far. I am not much of an online gamer, and thus do get annihilated by alot of people when playing it. Spose I'll get better the more I play it. Other gripe is I didn't know I needed a Playstation Plus account to even play it online. I loved Battlefront 2, I'll love this one too once I get better.

Also managed to track down a copy of Rocksmith 2014 for ps4 yesterday, the only copy in any store in NSW I visited. Greatest thing this game has over guitar hero/rock band is the fact you plug a real guitar/bass into the Playstation and learn to play a real guitar. And there is no difficulty setting, it plays to your ability. So if you're crap, it'll make you hit only a few notes here and there. As you get better, it adds extra notes for you to play, but does so while your playing the same song. I have the older version, but there wasn't enough songs I liked that I wanted to play, and for some reason I couldn't connect to the music store to get more. This one has some great stuff that I will love to play. There is something like 700+ downloads I found on the store. Now all I need to do is pick up some new strings today and I can finally start playing my guitar again

NBA 2K16 on PS4 rocks! Playing against the computer on Superstar is tough. I'm 18-4 online, rising up the ranking tiers. The game is no longer laggy in online matchups and the ranking system now means online matches are almost always close as you move through the tiers. If anyone wants a game online my PSN tag is DaptoDog.

i want them to bring back the 2K series for NFL They were the best NFL games hands down, especially 2K5. EA couldn't compete with Madden so they just bought out the license killing of the competition. Ever since, we've had the same game just with updated rosters. I hate EA

Totally agree. I played NBA Live from 95 to 07. In 08 I bought 2K8 and never looked back. Since then the NBA Live games have been a sick joke. The only thing that annoyed me was the NBA 2K servers but they put in dedicated Aussie servers for 15 and since then playing online has been sweet.

Rocket League. The whole easy to play difficult to master saying is true here if you want to chase it but a few noob friends on the couch makes for exhilarating matches. I love it. Other things I love about it are the fast servers and that it has cross play between consoles and PC. I love it again more still also. Always.

Hursticon pointed out via a retweet that Ultimate Doom, Doom 2 and Final Doom (and Quake) are available at GOG.com. I'm in the mood to shot some demons in the face, and it's been a long time since I played Doom on my old 486 PC.

Dunno if this counts, but I've just discovered Fallout Shelter and in the last two days, it's been a worrisome distraction....

My mates playing MGS5 and I'm just sitting at home playing Disney Infinity 3 on the Wii U!

A heap more fun and much better made than last years offering, still not quite as good as the Pirates stages from the original, but very close.

Just finished xenoblade chronicles 114 hours later, amazing game. Can't wait for X in December!

Anyone playing Super Mario Maker? Game is fantastic, i'm completely addicted (wishing i had more spare time mind you). Would love to share some of my creations if anyone's got it.

Don't forget DKCR and Yoshi's Woolly World. Hyrule Warriors is well worth a mention and of course Smash bros!

I have the old ps3 version. The new one craps all over it. Better songs (at least for me) plus sooooo many downloads. Bought Spinal Tap pack, can't stop playing Stonehenge bahahah.

Good luck finding a physical copy though. The PS Store has it for $99.95 download, not a big game file either, 6GB. Physical copy is really hard to track down without using evilbay
