Consoles are defined by their games and when you sit the Wii next to its competition it's an incredibly average system with predictable games, waggle or not. Sony is now just scraping the icing off an already stale cake, and what's more, they're adding extra tiers and candles. And Naughty Dog expect/want the PS3 to be around for at least another 5 years. Think Wii will last that long (factoring in its weak third party support)? Who knows, maybe all the non-gamers will keep the dream alive.

Yeh, but they whip out a new something every year. Just like Tfs. When I got a GBA, they whipped out the GBA SP, so after I evetually got a GBA SP (coz that needed a back light), out came the DS. I think you see where the flow is going here

picked up HAWX, Mini Ninjas, and De Blob yesterday for 70AUD.
I'm yet to play Mini Ninjas and my Wii is in a box somewhere, but HAWX has been good fun.

true, but Nintendo have stressed its not a revision but new hardware, rumors from some "developer" have suggested it has roughly the grunt of a Gamecube. Sounds tasty!
RE: the 3D its a parallax system of 3D, so expect it to have a similar depth to a magic eye poster, hardly gonna set the world on fire
