Question for the Playstation 3 owners out there: if I buy a PS3 game from the UK will I have any trouble playing it on my Australian PS3? I believe the answer's no, but would like some confirmation. There's some cheap deals by buying from the UK at the moment.

I buy most of my games from the UK because of the fact that they are cheaper and I own a PS3 bought in Oz (JB HI FI to be specific )... they all work fine.

You might have issues with DLC - I got Ninja Gaiden Sigma for my PS3 from the UK many moons ago, plays fine on my Aus PS3 but when I purchased the DLC, it wouldn't work (the DLC not the game). That being said, I also got Dynasty Warriors Gundam 1 and 2 from the UK, and the DLC from the Aus. PS3 store works fine. All games are marked region 2. So I guess it depends on the game.

Thats odd, about Ninja Gaiden Sigma, as the Aus PS store is the same as the UK one. Unless the region codes on the back of the game actually mean something

I have had plenty of UK games on my PS3. Us ones too, and a couple of JP too. I like my multiculturalism...

Sonic 4 Yay or nay? The demo just doesn't quite give me the tingle the megadrive versions did. It feels a tad off.

Anybody bought it yet? If so what is your thoughts?

I love it! HOWEVER! you need to be fully informed of the games content before buying, you might feel ripped off otherwise!

• Only 4 proper Zones, thankfully 3 acts each. That makes 12 levels then. (I would have preferred 6 zones with 2 acts each for more variety, but there you have it.)
  
• Game is very unoriginal, all bosses are slightly remixed from Sonic 1 & 2.
  
• Music kinda sucks, but grows on you.
  
• Special stages are like Sonic 1's except you rotate the level yourself this time.
  
• $20!!!! ouch.
  
• Fully Playable Super Sonic!
