I'm going to hold off on moving to the PS4 as I just bought a couple more PS3 games: Injustice Gods Among Us and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.

I wasn't too interested in a DC themed Mortal Kombat and all the boat stuff put me off AC IV but I got them new for $1 each from JB (as they had no original cover) and for $1 I'm happy to give both game a shot.

Injustice is actually pretty sweet, story mode is awesome and the ability button is an interesting concept if a tad underwhelming on some characters. Some of the super moves are pretty damn over the top.

Had more fun with injustice (and sunk more hours into both solo and local multiplayer with mates) than any fighting game since tekken 3. It is a steal at $1.

Black flag was one hell of a lot of fun. I highly recommend just sailing sailing sailing,taking out ships and collecting loot once you unlock the next section of Horne map and powering it up to max as soon as possible. The story is dull assassins creed style, but the gameplay is fun and very piratey.

Hunting down sharks and the legendary ships was brilliant. Also climbing up the mast/rigging without being seen before flying to the deck to assassinate pseudo historical figures was a riot!

Has anyone else seen the new 2DS consoles Japan is getting? Semi translucent and with the soon to be released original pokemon red/blue/green/yellow virtual console versions pre loaded. They look fantastic.

On a side more, has anyone here played the crew on the ps4? I've not heard much about it and reviews are very mixed. It's the last hurdle for me to decide upon if I upgrade to a ps4 or not while all the sales are still on.

I'm personally not a fan of Injustice, the movement of the fighters feels a bit stiff to me, kinda like MvC3. I prefer fast moving fighters like KI, MKX and USF4.

At first I wasn't sure about Injustice. I had a lot of trouble with the timing of combos in the training tutorial. I'm used to Street Fighter mechannics.

Then I started the story mode to give it a quick try. Three hours later at 1am when I was up to chapter 6 and playing Batman again and I thought I should stop and go to bed.

I found it pretty easy to get into the swing of the story and the fighting, although there was a lot of button mashing. Picking up new characters didn't take too long, Joker was the hardest.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the game and it was defintely worth the purchase!

It's sold out online now, but Target had a PS4 1TB bundle on their eBay store so you could use the 15% off and get it for $420 (with The Crew and Uncharted). I've put my PS4 purchasing on hold, but will be looking out for another eBay sale when I'm ready to buy.

Great fun. I haven't put any time in in a few weeks but yeah, good.

The mistake I made last time I played it was to push too hard, try to take on super mutants and kill every raider I came across. This time I'm not wasting a single bullet on a super mutant and only engaging raiders if 100% sure of victory. Bottle caps are harder to come by then I'd like it takes forever to cross the wasteland because I'm so wary of wasting ammo and stimpacks.

So yeah, this time around I'm enjoying it
