    Blast it. It's official
Mortal Kombat 9 has been refused classification.

    Linky Link to classifiaction website.

That sucks. Importy time a go go. Mind you ALiens VS predator was intially refused classification and then got in under an MA after a second submission without any changes either.

Crazy, I know, maybe we will get lucky again...?

I was at JB earlier and they had Marvel Vs Capcom 3 in their demo playstation so I played a few rounds and loved it. I wasn't sure about the streamlined controls before playing but they work well even if it feels weird to do a Hurricane Kick with the same button you do a Hadoken, but the launcher/combo elements are fun.

Although I like Street Fighter IV I don't find it that enjoyable to play. This on the overhand is so much fun! I was going to wait a while and see if the price came down but I enjoyed the short play it so much I almost bought it at $90 but decided to come home and check the import online stores first. Save some dollars even if I have to wait a little longer.

Question for anyone that imports games - have you ever imported a game that was refused classification here in Australia and had it seized at customs?

I've asked this of a few mates already and no one has experienced this.

It's pretty damn rare to actually have a game seized, but it can happen.

I imported Silent Hill: Homecoming from the US while it was banned in OZ. Arrived without any dramas.

It all comes down to how unlucky you are if Customs decides to randomly open the box and check the game. I have not heard of unclassified games getting picked up by customs.

Finally picked this up after i_am_trunks's recommendation.

$48 from EB Games for the Collector's edition with Lego magnets! That's like a pretty good buy to me! Gosh each level is soooo long and you can't stop midway! But I'm glad it's actually quite different from the PSP version.

Yeah it is backwards compatabe with DS games just without the 3D features. I had a play on Friday at Carousel and honestly I thought it was great.

Loved Zelda OOT. Will be my 4th purchase of this game
Nintendogs + Cats was a cute cool update
AR was a real highlight for me. I nearly pulled the stand down trying to move around in the boss battle. This has huge potential
Metal Gear intro movie looked great in 3D as did the short Mario Kart movie
Pilotwings and Icarus also looked good

All the games looked nice crisp when turning the 3D off

Coooooool, so a game (We Dare) that promotes sexual partner swapping, kinky games, spanking, and encourages same sex simulation, BUT, MK 9 is banned due to violence?

I believe Im ready to give up my citizenship...
