Just wondering if anyone has played a board game called "Last Night on Earth"?

It's a zombie-survival themed board game. Description found here:

Looks interesting, but haven't played it myself.

Nope, but I've played Zombies, which is basicly the same scenario, fight your way through town to the hellicopter. This game seems to be a more evolved version.

Oh okay I got the impression they were pretty cool as you could jump in, shoot then jump out in the assault phase... plus I though they looked cool.

They can do that, however the current ed has a run rule, so all the slow armies got faster, so It becomes harder to avoid the enemy. There still probably ok though, but fielding a gunline can be tricky.

The Fire Warriors are nice minatures, but I don't dig the battlesuits there to square and ungainly. Although I have seen come excellant conversions uisng Gundam and Macross kit pieces.

Personaly I prefer em slim and dynamic looking.

lol, you needed me! i cease fired 9 stormtroopers, and all you needed to do was to go and kill of thrawn and his merry band of weird peoples lol. but thats in the past now, im sure that the next tiem we play minis, ill hopefully destroy you. i know ive said this before but i have my fingers crossed this time, and you know that mean, ill be totally ownaging you lol

In 3-way games someone always gets ganged up on. That's why people usually avoid them. And considering that I started in _middle_ of the board... I knew from the beginning that I wouldn't win that game.

Just to regenerate this thread a bit, here's a youtube vid doing the rounds. For all those people who play with little men made of plastic or metal it seems we are in good company.

Obviously Tarkin is a power palyer fielding two Death Stars.
