I have my ticket for Amon Tobin! Yes!! The Sydney show was sold out before I could scrounge the dosh together so I'm going to the Melbourne show instead. Hey, it works out better for me (not as well for my Canberra friends ).

ALSO, thanks to Dell's awesome 24hr 30% off monitors sale I just bought a 24" Dell Ultrasharp monitor to throw into my music room/studio/thing. Just need my new keyboard and mouse to arrive and I'll be ready to get back into messing around with Ableton.

What's everyone been listening to this week? I've been enjoying some more chilled out stuff so far, loving this little EP by bandcamp artist Andrea at the moment!

How was Metrik bruv?

I went to the Perth show of Clark's Iradelphic tour last night and it was a bit underwhelming to be honest. I love this guys stuff but the live show just didn't do it for me. Was praying he'd play Ted, Gob Coitus or Indigo Optimus after the encore but alas, it wasn't to be (we got treated to some random noise instead). Definitely not the experience of seeing Clark live that I had envisioned.

My discovery of the week is UK Brainfeeder artist, Lapalux. Will be seeing him next month too along with oOoOO. Good times ahead!
