Looks a bit 'Animated'

Now that you mention it, it kinda does.

Now I am only speculating here but could it be that this will be used as a precursor, or in conjunction with, the new TV show? And could it be that they will use some of the models from Animated but retool them a bit? Because to me Megs looks like a more bad a@@ version of the Animated version. And Op has a big chest like his Animated counterpart. As well as the use of melee weapons, which to my knowledge, started using with Animated?

To me, Megs looks more like his Classics version - Look at the chest, arms and of course, his head. The tank mode as somebody mentioned, looks a bit like his AM tank with some WW thrown in.

Prime on the other hand does look more like his Animated Counterpart, particularly on that 'axe duel' pic.

I think this game is going to grab bits and pieces of design detailing from across all lines but ultimately be 'G1'.

True about Megatron, but his head, to me, looks similar to Animated, just a bit retooled.

But you are probably right, it looks like they are getting ideas from all lines, but primarily going with a G1 look.

I suppose more will be revealed with the release of this highly anticipated teaser trailer.

The artwork is pretty good, it has bits of everything but doesn't look as cartoony as usual. But then I'm a big fan of concept art in general, always seems to have a lot more character and rawness than the final product.

Still awesome concept art doesn't necesarily translate into awesome products. So I'm not going to get to excited....... yet.
