    Default Buster Prime and Jetfire Two-Pack

    It looks like Takara-Tomy are going to release a Jetfire ( " looks to be repainted" ) and Buster Prime ( "w/face plate and unsure, at this stage if he has the gun" ) combo pack.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrr... So effing typical! I only just bought Buster Prime off Tropisetron yesterday, and got Jetfire about 2 weeks ago, so I am mega pissed about this, but I should have expected it really, because they do this sort of stuff all the time... *sigh* If it's just Primes faceplate, I can live without that, as I already have Leader Prime and Buster Prime, but if Jetfire has been given a 'premium' touch-up, I will be quite annoyed, especially considering the effort it took to get the missus' permission to buy the ones I just got. Oh well, time will tell I guess...

    It's apparently regular Prime with Buster's paintjob and screen-accurate (I guess) Jetfire.


    Basically, Takara is trying to get you to buy both Busters so you can have the ultimate ROTF Prime. Then in less than 2 years you'll replace this mold with a (hopefully) even better design.

    That could almost work given how frickin awesome Buster Prime is. if the previous Premium range had been that good i'd have to buy them all over again.

    It's hard to imagine a better movie mould than ROTF Prime, sure improvments could be made, but an overall better new mould would be well Awesome!

    It dose look like, the "Buster Prime" in this combo dose include the gun and apparently, has blue pin striping instead of white

    This is apparently a special ordering by Hasbro Hong Kong from TakaraTomy, hence the TakaraTomy logo on the box. This is for distribution for the Asian-Pacific region only and not intended for retail release in Japan, hence the lack of preorder information from Japanese dealers or any magazine promotion, as well as the absence of typical product information in Japanese text near the barcode area on box.
