Thumbs down More KO Devastator Goodness (?)

Just a heads-up for G1 collectors - there are now carded versions of each G1 Constructicon.

The obvious tell that they are KO's, is the missing text on the right-hand bottom corner for the 'assortment' number e.g. ASST.

I've included pics below for comparison so you can all avoid making a costly mistake -

My Grandmother gave me Scrapper for Christmas something like 24 years ago. I hope she didn't buy me a KO

The KO also appears to have the rear wheels.

A useful way to identify them. If anyone's Scrapper has rear wheels, it's a knockoff!

Dude, if rainbow brite suddenly got a live action movie and was as popular as TFs for the last 25 years, then we'd be whinging about that being knocked up, opps, knocked off.

Meh, these look pretty decent for Knock-Offs. If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck etc.

If they show up on Ebay for a decent price, I'll probably pick one up. Certainly don't have a problem buying (high quality) knock-offs if Hasbro/Takara has made no indication they're going to do an official reissue - of course, all they need to do is announce they're going to, and I'll hold off for that one.

Just a friendly reminder Sutton - the forum user guide states:

13 - Do not promote or encourage the sale of pirated, unauthorised or any knock-off Transformers toys. Limited awareness of 'fake Transformers' is allowed, to show fans of real Transformers toys what sort of things are being produced. Knock offs have already prevented certain Generation One toys from being reissued, as well as fooling newer fans into thinking they have bought the real thing, cheapening the value and fun of having rare limited edition toys.
While of course you're only suggesting what you might do yourself, some users may interpret that as encouraging their purchase, and that can potentially start a flamewar; it's happened before, and it's not pretty. This issue has been chewed over many times in the past, and as such we mods get a bit touchy about it. The official position of the board is KO = Bad.

Thread such as this are ideal for IDing KOs, but we'd ask that the discussion stuck to "how to ID" issues, rather than a discussion about the merits of KOs.

You have to wonder though, why after all these years are they finally bringing out a fully chromed and colour accurate KO? I suspect Encore 20.

Well, I'd like to hold that hope anyway. Yea, I know, they're individual and not a giftbox.
