(And... sigh... I don't know why it's always me pointing this stuff out: http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showpo...&postcount=170 but you can... erm... part Punch's legs outward to finish his transformation.)

There's also an alternate robot mode transformation for Punch's legs that's reflected on his box art and the front of those instructions you have there. It helps explain why there's aspects of the toy can that he doesn't otherwise use (it's in the red box below):

About a year ago (or more) I told Dirge and Gok about the Punch transformation and they didn't believe me!

Wow I always transformed him the same way ramp did. I don't think the boxart alternative looks all that great. Looks stumpy How do the instructions suggest you fold out the legs?

[edit] nvm, misread sky shadows leg fold out post hehe

What I do like about the alternate transformation is that it means the two characters look a lot less like it's just the same guy who turned around and pulled back his toupée. They have different arm and leg configurations and are different heights - it makes the Decepticon army look not quite so stupid that they don't realise the two robots are the same bloke.

That's how every baddie transformed between demon and human forms in Monkey!

"For you see Monkey, I am really..." <spins around and changes> "...the Dog Demon!" <Pigsy faints>

Wow dude, that was pretty damn quick. I sent it tuesday.

Make sure it gets played with. I gave it one last quick transform on monday, which was about ~two years since I previously played with it. Yea, it was on my shelf in the box that long.

Encore #19 - Frenzy, Rumble, Lazerbeak and Overkill thanks to Fungal Infection

That now completes the G1 cartoon cassettes for me, am not after the combiners or Japanese ones so I'm happy.
