Don't zip lock anything G1 with stickers. You run the risk of trapping moisture in the zip lock bag and over time the stickers may attract fungal growth in the form of tiny lines that look like veins.

I keep my transformers in storage in cardboard or plastic containers with a few silica gel satchels.

Bubblewrap works well, provided that it's clean.

The silica gel sounds like a good idea!

What are these 'silica gel satchels' - are they those rectangular bags with tiny translucent beads in them?

How often do these satchels need to be replaced, if at all?

Go on ebay, you can usually pick up good quality ones made in Japan that have blue beads in them that eventually turn pink when they have become dense with moisture (although this doesn't take long as the air is saturated with moisture) for about $5-10 for 25 satchels.

Im kind of thinking so long as they dont get hot and that they are stacked propperly they should be fine.
You are planning on keeping them in an air conditioned room though right? Don't know what state you're from, but QLD weather needs air conditioning to stop age discoloration. I do the same with comics, to stop the paper aging.
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

Air conditioned sometimes! Lol S.A Weather can be a little more forgiving than that of QLD. We definitely dont have as much humidity but it can get very hot.

Really ? Nearly all of my stored TF's are in ziplock bags...

How big are the Japan made silica gel satchels ? Most of my bags are only a bit bigger than the TF (Eg. G1 Bumblejumper). Would they fit in the ziplock bags as well ?
