beast wars grimlock and classics beast wars megatron now with updated pics
hey guys.. i was staring at my classics grimlock figure and realised i had a spare.. so instead of putting him up on fleabay.. decided to give him a make over as - classics beast wars megatron... all parts except the head is from the grimlock figure. im not too happy with the overall finish of this figure as its too 'shiny' (i hate shiny)... however,... my next bot makes up for it.-

i also had my first expereience here for blacklining and drybrushing.. so excuse the rough jobs

now.... i had the grimlock head and the megatron (cybertron t-rex) mould left over.. so i put 2 and 2 together and made a 'reimagining' of a G1 style grimlock that would have been if he was in beast wars.

looks awesome in alt mode

love the 'versus' pics -

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Big fan of BW Grimlock, I feel Classics BW Megatron could stand to be a darker colour.

i agree too.. the colour looks darker in real life though...
funnily enough the grimlock only took a 1/4 of the time that megatron did... but looks a lot better....
btw citadel and tamiya paints all teh way.. any other paint and its a waste of time and money

Some of those pics aren't loading for me atm, but I can see two of them.
The greyish blue you've chosen for Classics Grimlock doesn't look purple enough to pass off as BW Megatron to me (although great work with the head) but the blue is grey enough to look like BW Grimlock IMO!
