    Default BigPenneys Birthday cake

    I thought i would upload a couple of pics of the birthday cake my mum and one of my sisters made for me this year.
    My mum made the cake and my sis piped the the chocolate Decepticon and Autobot symbols (I'm always amazed at what she can make with some chocolate and some baking paper. These only took her 10 minutes!).



    Soundwave superior. All others inferior!

    That looks awesome! What sort of cake was it? It looks like a layered sponge cake from the side...

    Yes, it was a cream and plum jam layered sponge cake.

    It tasted great.
    Nice and sweet with just enough tartness from the plums and I think my friends agreed seeing as some went for thirds.
