I live in a small town and am a small business owner. I do what I can to keep the local infrastructure growing. Department stores strangle the life out of small business.

EB is far far far from small business, it's a gaming monopoly that would put you under within a couple of months if you too sold games.

EB is evil - They are also rip off artists.

They have a lot of people under the bizarre idea that they are the best place to get games from. I personally feel sick when I walk by a store in a shopping mall and see it packed with people buying games at their ridiculous 300% mark ups which to them is a 'Sale'.

As mentioned before - There are better and far more economical choices. They are also easier and more convenient than EB.

OK you guys a missing my point. Basically if everyone orders from online stores or goes to department stores then that eradicates the need for small shopfronts (be it independent stores or franchises). I buy from ebay not to support them but to support the growth of my community.

Create a small business selling games. Buy new release PC games at $30ea from overseas and sell them for $50-$60 in your area. You will be getting a 80-100% profit margin and still be selling them at half the price of EB games. That way you benefit a small business in your area (you) and give people the right to choose where they buy their games promoting competition. This forces the evil monopoly to reconsider their inflated prices and also promotes market growth in your area.

Sounds great. Have you taken all business costs into consideration? If it was that easy I'm sure someone would of done it by now. BTW if someone did do it then I would support them

Then sell them privately You will still promote bussiness in your area if you become known. There shouldn't be any legalities attached since you are purchasing the items as a private individual and it is your choice if you wish to sell them again just as when you sell one of your spare TFs.

I just feel bad when people feel forced to buy from EB games when the prices they charge are outrageous but people seem to be unaware that there are other options.

I'm not going to continue this conversation as it is derailing the thread. I've voiced my opinions.

Yeah my main motivation is the single player campaign as with any other game. However if people here want to group up for online play, I am happy to join.

Would there be multiplayer compatibility between formats?
