Oh these will be mine. The Orochi is such a nice looking car.
I like the designs and the robot modes do evoke a very 'aerial' theme with minimal obvious car kibble adding to that effect. If the quality is anything like Bumblebee and Cliffjumper then you are looking at some very good grade toys.
However car seekers are not very appealing to me as a concept despite the very good quality of these designs so I will not get them.
They've got a bit of BT Tracks going on there with the shoulder things. The robot mode looks tall and skinny, I hope they size up well with the other alternities.
Not really keen on the chunky chibi looking arm blasters though.
At first i thought the doors were supposed to be flip up style, like this pic:
But turns out that's the roadster, thankfully! These are looking great! Seems they resorted to a fake chest in the style of the bonnet to achieve the look of the sketch we saw earlier. Is it his seats over his shoulders? And the dash/steering wheel behind the back? Looks to be a pretty interesting transformation.
Wow - Skywarp is one scary-looking toy. Not sure he's as Skywarpy as he could be, but still - colour me impressed. If there was some sort of sensible canon behind this franchise, I'd be completely sold on that one.
Yeah, they're 'cheating' on that chest plate, but it works. Almost feels like they are over-compensating with the stripes on the insides of the doors tho.
They are looking fantastic tho, thanks Kurt.![]()
Which brings us to where we are today...
Wow, the colour used for Skywarp is beautiful. I've got no Alternity figures, but Skywarp looks like a figure worth owning (if prices aren't too steep, and Uni books havent sent me broker than broke by then!)
